Yup we did it last year during the fall. Most of the guys went with Rawlings or Louisville slugger. A few like Holland and Stovall swong Marucci. No where to be found was anybody using adidas.

I saw an interview with Blaze Jordan and he mentioned the fact that he could pick his own bat as something that he liked about our program. Hitting is hard enough as it is and I want our guys using equipment that they are the most comfortable and confident in so I think it's a huge plus as well.

I saw a couple guys (Rooker being one) that used the Rocketballz bat during a fall scrimmage. Of course, Self didn't give them the chance to see how it felt hitting a ball, but I was still shocked to see them even trying it.
