The tickets to the Las Vegas bowl are at Vegas prices but I know it's a smaller stadium.

Just ran into one of our coaches, asked him how recruiting was going and he said "right now great". Then I ask was there any surprises and he replied laughing, "no bad surprises right now"! I also asked him about which bowl did he think we would attend, he said "I hope it's the Los Vegas Bowl". It will be announced Saturday where we will end up.

That seems to be where the coaches want to go and I'm good with that. I think it has a pretty high payout as well so that makes sense from our point of view as well. I'm curious to see what happens with ULL because if they lose Saturday I could see us possibly going to the NOLA bowl to play USM.

Would be sweet to finally have a "home game" since moving to Nola.

I think if they are looking to expand footprint the Las Vegas bowl is pretty good. Plus there's a lot of porn stars there.

Wrong team, ol lazy eye is on a different team. I guess he could come to our bowl game since he won't be doing anything else but smoking and maybe jumping out of hotel rooms.

Apparently North Texas will get first pick of 5-7 teams that will have a spot. So we will get to pick from whatever bowls are left for 5-7 teams after North Texas picks.

Does the team pick or do the bowls have picking order?

From everything I've read it looks like the teams get to pick open spots, so N Texas get first pick then we get to pick.

If we want to go to Ft Worth, we may have a home game in Denton in a few years.

Being in the Sec helps, I bet Vegas and Ft Worth are hoping for a dawg invasion.

Imagine the T-shirt market if we go to Vegas?
