Predictably, it damn near sinks and the guys have to be saved. Good lord.

"They came down to fish Venice, and decided to tiptoe offshore," Buck recounted. "Seas built up, and the motor gave way. They took water over the front, and ended up in the Gulf. They were able to loop a ski rope over a piece of the platform to hold the boat, and somehow were able to crawl on the platform. A helicopter saw them and sent the Coast Guard to them."

Idiots; the bass boats are all too low to the water, any waves and that is exactly what will happen. On the other hand these dumb asses would of had to replace every electrical connection on that boat if it had not of sunk due to the salt water and air.

It's either in that article or the LAS article that it's believed to be totaled.
