And their status as of right now?

A new running back coach who plays the most talented big bodied running back despite their age. Status I think Knox is the only likely coaching casualty but it would make such a positive impact if he were replaced.

In no particular order:

1. LB Willie Gay- 99.99% chance
2. S CJ Avery- 99.99% chance
3. OL D'marcus Hayes(JUCO)- 90% chance
4. DE Chauncey Rivers(JUCO)- 75% chance
5. WR Stephen Guidry(JUCO)- 85% chance
6. CB Laquarius Andrews(JUCO)- 75% chance
7. CB Dante Wigley(JUCO)- 60% chance
8. S Brian Cole(JUCO)- 75% chance
9. OT Josh Cooper(sign and place)- 90% chance
10. CB Keisean Dixon(JUCO)- 45% chance
11. DT George Elliss- 50% chance
12. OL Jordan Tucker- 40% chance
13. RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire(current LSU commit)- 40% chance
14. OL Jerry Drake Jr.- 30% chance
15. DE Markell Winters(JUCO and former OM commit)- 25% chance

I'm sure i'm forgetting some guys but look for most of our commits down the stretch to come from this group, which is very JUCO heavy as expected.

You can add J'Marick woods to that list 50-50.It's a Long way to Michigan from Alabama
And flip flop the odds with Nixon and Cole.

But yeah thats a pretty good break down.

You're right, I completely forgot about him. Woods has really started to trend towards the maroon and white lately, and imo he would be the biggest late get in the class.

Because they are going to sign with State, simple as that.

Not saying they won't but ... so was Lashley.

I see Lashley will be the new CJ Johnson for the next 4-5yrs.

What about the WR from Morton? I assume he's an OM lock since I've never heard of him until I checked out 247 after the Egg Bowl.

(I pay very little attention to recruiting until February)

Forget about him. He's a Reb no matter what in the same sense that Willie Gay was going to be a Dawg no matter what. It doesn't happen as often as you would think in Mississippi, but some guys grow up fans of State or Ole Miss, and will sign with that team regardless of record, coach or NCAA problems.

Some 4 or 5 star kicker needs to be #1 on that list.

I will never understand the not trying to sign the best at the position that usually leads the team in scoring.

I'd try to become Kicker U

Agee 100%

It's mind boggling to see how little effort is put forth to recruit the position that may determine winning and losing more than any single player on the field outside of the QB.

It's almost like there's a stigma with kickers and was promoted by coaches like Bill Parcells, etc that hated them.

I'd think anlytical guys would laugh at that and say kickers are extremely important.

I understand the concern over a kicker after our kicking debacle this season. In Dan's defense though, who the heck saw graves' complete meltdown coming? Graves was a huge bright spot last season and I thought he was poised for a huge year.

Really Clark?

Ha. You don't hardly ever see one ranked higher than low to mid 3 star. There are 14 3 stars this year. We have been going after a 3 star from LA but he is committed to GT. And to be fair Graves was 21st in the country last year with 2 years remaining. You would think you would be ok there for the next couple of years.

Why not have tryouts on campus? There are a lot of former soccer players at MSU. Hell, give the ladies on the MSU soccer team tryouts
