The issue then becomes, IF they are voted out, which they will fight tooth and nail, who does the SEC add to the west?

I would absolutely be against this myself. If Ole Miss goes, we're next on the chopping block if the SEC decides they want to make room for more big market teams.

Nobody is getting voted/kicked out of the SEC... Stupid thread is stupid.

The only way I see a termination meeting in OM's future is if the academic fraud is tied to federal student loan money. That's a pretty serious crime. Still probably won't happen even if.

OM isn't getting kicked out nor voted out. Zero percent chance.

But if they did, we'd be the only show in MS making us a decently attractive option to keep around.

Sorry man, but you don't DEFINITIVELY know this.

Nobody does, but because TCUN is the gift that keeps on giving, and because the NCAA can't get to a finish line to even address the 1st NOA because of TCUN's rampant "network-induced, lack-of-institutional-control, entrance exam fixing, car loaning, free lodging, red back packing, coach-n-booster-n-player meeting" cheating ways, the NCAA may have no choice but to blow the program up because it's bigger than anything the NCAA has ever seen.

Combined with the fact that TCUN apparently has zero respect for the NCAA and has flaunted their network super powers at will while under current investigation, and who knows. But remember, even this past spring (Feb or March) we were only thinking 9 over 3, but then Tunsil happened, and Barney happened, and who know what's happened with the current recruiting cycle (but we hear something DID happen and they've been caught again).

At some point, how can the SEC "NOT" get embarrassed by this bunch and say enough!?

Yes, he definitively knows this. Ole Miss isn't going anywhere.

Anyway, the SEC needs bottom feeder programs. Now that Vandy is improved, somebody has to take their place at the bottom.

I seriously doubt any of this happens but, just for fun, they would add a team to the east and move Missouri to the west. One UM out and another one in. One ramification of this would be how we would handle the Egg Bowl. Keep it and have a cupcake at the end of the season Kinda like UT does (oops) or maybe make LSU our Real Rival (oh wait, I guess they would need a new rival too)...
