They HAD won two consecutive Egg Bowls (with Dak as our starting QB nonetheless). They HAD just won the Sugar Bowl. They just HAD another top 5 recruiting class. They HAD 3 players taken in the first round of the NFL draft. They HAD a preseason no. 12 ranking. They HAD the best QB in CFB (just ask Kelly, he'll tell ya). They HAD the best WR Corps in the league. They HAD aspirations of making the CFB playoffs. They HAD a big lead against FSU. The best one loss team in the country still HAD playoff aspirations. They HAD a big lead against Bama. The best two loss team in the country still HAD playoff aspirations. They HAD their foot on our throats no doubt but it disappeared like a fart in the wind. Mullen broke serve and we have them at our place next year with an emerging superstar at QB and their defense will still suck. Freeze looks beat down. His confidence appears shaken. If we can get to and win a bowl game and finish strong in recruiting (while their recruiting has stymied) we have all the momentum on our side. Plus, the NCAA still cometh. Oh my how things have changed ever so quickly. The free tacos are drying up and Freeze looks like a dead man walking. What they HAD is OVER!
