The extra practices would be useful with all the EE coming in.

I think we are 5th in APR among 5-7 teams. Bowls must go by APR when picking 5-7 teams.

I'm gonna guess Vandy is ahead of us in APR and it doesn't matter whether they win or lose against Tennessee? Either they get to 6-6 or they finish 5-7 and have a higher APR and get selected ahead of us.

Will the APR be adjusted after this weekends games? If so, we could possibly move up.

We need UCLA and Hawaii to lose. If both lose we will likely get a bowl. If only one loses then it gets dicey. If both win then we ain't goin.

Not necessarily. South Alabama and Louisiana-Lafayette are 5-6 with games next week, so we may have to wait and see what happens in those.

I thought we were tied with Texas at 971? Boston College is above us however.

APR deals with academics. The scores for football are released every spring. We have a 971, as does Texas and Hawaii.

Really Clark?

BC is 6-6

Boston College won today to get to 6-6. They were in front of us in line anyway, so no big deal.

We are tied with Texas. Not sure how the NCAA breaks that tie, but Texas may just decline the bid.

If UCLA loses (very likely), either Texas or us gets a bowl. If UTSA or Hawaii or South Alabama (next week) or UL-Lafayette (next week) also lose, we both get one.

Hawaii plays 13 games this year, so if they win tonight, they're in at 6-7, and if they lose, they're out at 5-8, regardless of APR.

Never saw the final on BC. UCLA looks done. I don't know if this would break the tie, but it looks like the Big 12 will fill all their bowl slots(Sugar, Russell Athletic, Alamo, Texas, Liberty, and Cactus) while the SEC won't. Maybe, that gets us in that last SEC slot?
