He was honorary captain along with Bo Wallace and other former players(forgot their names) for their Championship game the day of the Texas A&M. I was wondering why he wouldnt go with his team to College Station. I guess they are no longer his team.

I played rugby for nearly 30 years...and have had my share of hamstring injuries. To say they are debilitating is an understatement. Depending on the severity, then can be crippling.

Unlike other injuries that are painful,but can be "played through", a "hammy" is something you cannot mentally block out or "just take the pain". Your body will not cooperate, no matter how tough a bastard you are. Even a mild pull will affect your ability to run full-stride. At best, you have to "nurse it" and never run full speed. Forget about using that leg in sharp...sudden moves.

Now, I have no experience with pain-killers, other than ibuprofen, etc...so if anyone knows if there's a shot that can be administered that allows one to play all out on one, I'd like to know.

NO personal info...Just from what I saw from their game. Ingram will be limited, had his head in his hands entire time after he came out. Looked like a guy fell on back of his leg one play and then Ingram grabbed hamstring cutting to the end zone on another play. Rawlings got PUSHED DEEP into the backfield several times so I think his ability to block is hindered substantially as well. But then again the DOGS let a one legged QB beat them, and haven’t found a way to block a slanting bear def tackle 3 of the last 4 years.

I don't really blame him. He was a hired gun, figuratively if not literally, that they have no more use for, and he never really struck me as "one of them" at any point in the way he acted.
