No- they won't be able to score enough on them to be able to beat them. But I am curious to see if they can throw some wrinkles at Shay Shay to force him into some mistakes. Force him into some turnovers to set Vandy up for some points to make it interesting in the 4th Q. Also to help give our defensive staff some ideas for next week

Really hope Patterson takes hits while running like last week... Cunningham will give him a proper welcome to the sec

Vandy only gives up an average of 13 points for Sec games at home. Interesting.

They should, but vandy seems to play them well. Last season, om was a far superior team to this year and vandy last season was worse than this year, but om only won by 11 at home. Gonna be cold and I think mason comes up with some things young patterson hasn't seen. I expect Webb to have a good night running. I think om wins, but I expect a 10-14 point game... no blow out.

Who knows what's going to happen, but in the past Vandy loves to make this kind of game as ugly as they can. Run, run, run and try to keep the ball away from OM. Try to make OM make a mistake on offense and get a short field to punch it in. Stay within striking distance to keep their players giving 100%. OM's mindset is naturally that they are always the better team, but the longer Vandy stays in it, the more OM starts thinking about that and loses focus on what they need to.

I think the key for Vandy is not to give up the big play. Put a couple good licks on Patterson early and let him know he's not in high school any more. Win the kicking game and make OM have to drive it 80 yards every time.

Go 'Dores.
