Dumbasses are taking over these teams. The Jacksonville Suns changed their name to the Jumbo Shrimp a couple of weeks ago. They had been the Suns since the 1950s

Part of me is torn on the team names. Obviously i hate "baby cakes", but some names i enjoy: The biscuits, beach bums, iron pigs to name a few.

I also like how the braves do it. all 6 or 7 of their teams are just braves, with the exception of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

I live in Jacksonville and the jumbo shrimp has caused a revolt .....idiots are really owning minor league teams now days changing names of teams trying to make a extra buck but these names are horrible.

The Zephyrs are now the Baby Cakes. I get the King Cake baby connotation, but come on.
