Is there any legitimate possibility Cannizaro could possibly get this guy to campus if he committed to us? I know it is a pipe dream but what a steal that would be. For those that don't know, he is a top 5 prospect in the nation as an OF from Hattiesburg for the 2018 class.

Know Joe and family well. His dad calls most of the shots and no he won't play college ball unless something happens and his draft stock bottoms out. Another kid on that hburg team AJ Stenson is someone to watch too. He's hidden in Joe shadow but he's talented.

Gray is friends with some of our commits like Jeremiah Jackson in the 2018 class so I could see us getting a commitment from him. I can’t see us getting him past the draft. Gray has a chance to be not only a first round pick but possibly the first pick of the entire draft. If I had to guess I think he will be somewhere in the top 10 picks which I believe would be the highest for a Mississippi HS player since Kirk Presley.
