Are they installing a donut shop in SunTrust Park?

No - but there is a Krispy Kreme right up the street.

In 1989, the Braves signed 41 year old Darrell Evans. He and my Dad were born the same day. He thought it was incredible a guy his age was still playing ball. I laughed and called them washed up old farts. Now in 2016, they sign Colon - and we are the same age- and I think "**** yeah, guy my age still getting it done!" I need a drink.

Hey they might as well sign Julio back.

Definitely looking to sell some tickets while the young arms are developing. At least they don't have to throw the young guys out there before they are really ready. I like the moves.

I'm liking the moves too! Maybe Colon can give us some fat boy homers too!

Colon has had a heck of a career. He may have been overshadowed by some guys with better stuff but to be 43 years old and still rocking and rolling is pretty impressive.

Throws like 90% fastballs too.

Yep, at one point in the season he was in top 15 as far as not allowing solid contact on the FB and threw it like 35% more often than the mlb average. He is still fun to watch.

Really Clark?

Good inning eaters. And Colon is still effective. Dickey struggled this year but with a knuckle it can flip back it being effective for a few more years. You never know.

Read on braves' board that dickey had mid-3 era on road and 5+ at home. Just getting away from Toronto could benefit him greatly

We starting an over 40 league? Can we get chipper and smoltz back?

Very true. Surprising it's that worse at home. They usually try to close the dome when he pitches and that should favor him.

Better check me on that... going off memory. It was a big discrepancy though even if I'm off some

Something about the air, altitude/sea level that affects the knuckleball more in some stadiums than others. Toronto doesn't have good air for a knuckleballer.

Braves are really taking Veterans Day serious.
