Here's the story. Two head coaches at Walker and Cullman (two mid-level 6A teams, they make playoffs, but aren't elite) are playing Friday night. Home chain gain incorrectly displays 3rd and 12 for Walker when it is 4th and 12. Walker goes for it rather than punting. Cullman stops them, then scores the winning TD with 19 seconds left.
Walker coach refuses to shake hands, Cullman coach runs him down and calls him a ***** motherfricker. Walker coach beats the hell out of Cullman coach.
AHSAA levied $300 fines that can be reduced to $100 by taking an online sportsmanship class. Birmingham news writer penned column above calling for banning of teams from playoffs.
In addition, Cullman administration has come out publicly and said that their coach acted with class and faces no discipline. If either coach has a job Tuesday morning, its a travesty.
