Thank, guys...

I don't expect any recognition, but it sure is nice that some will still go outta their way, especially given today's "climate"....

Thanks, again...

Thanks Tusk

Same here I served in the 82nd Airborne Division and as an Army Aviator in the MSARNG back in the 80's and early 90's. I was lucky and never got sent into combat. Like most Veterans I appreciate the thanks but I don't expect it. It was a Job that I wanted to do and I was paid to do it. Now the veterans who do deserve a thanks are the guys and gals who served in Combat especially the Vietnam vets. Those guys were totally shi& on when they came home. So anytime you see a kid in uniform with a CIB are combat action badge please go out of your way to shake their hands.

My grandad was in the army back during WWII and was a prisoner of war and had to endure the Bataan Death March. I wanted to take a pic of the little shadowbox we had of his medals and letters saying he was MIA and a POW and put on here, but couldn't get a hold of it last time I was home.

Anyway, I know you all put your lives on the line to defend our country and it is definitely not taken for granted. Thank you all for your service and God bless you.

I appreciate what the Veterans on here, those not on this board, and those who lost their lives have done serving to protect our freedom, and our great Nation. Words can not state, or express how much we owe to this select group of proud Americans for the sacrifices they have made. I hope our country can get back to a " By the People and for the People" Government, and that those who serve in the military get the upmost and ultimate respect and support from our new upcoming leaders in Washington that they so justly deserve. Thank you to all.

Thank you for your service and Happy Veterans Day!

Had the honor to thank my dad another year for his service in Korea. Drafted after he graduated college, never complained and attended OCS. The action was intense and he made it home along with his men. One damn bad ass. Army BTW.

It's always weird saying "thank you" for doing something I volunteered to do, but thank y'all. And thanks to all of the other vets out there.

It makes me a little uncomfortable too, but I'm weird about receiving thanks.
