One of the best times of the year folks, Bama, Arky, TSUN stretch, Basketball starting up and its win or go home for high school ball around the state.

We'll see. They've only played 2 real contenders all year and were lucky to win both. Their defense is nasty though

If Clinton doesn't win it this year, they never will. They are great on offense, not so much on defense. Which might lead to their demise.

I'm a 1A guy. I've seen Nanih Waiya this year. They are pretty stout and certainly looked good enough to win it all. I saw Simmons last year twice, they lost a little but what they had coming back should still be enough to take it all if they play well. They have SO much team speed it's jut crazy. Their linemen can outrun most 1A backs. I may see them in a week or two. In the north Smithville and West Lowndes are probably the other two that might have a shot at going to Starkville, but they both will have to step it up big time to take Simmons. I don't know a whole lot about the South half.

I've seen Tupelo this year. That defense is very good. When the soph is playing at QB their offense is pretty good too. Trent Hammond is a very good coach. Don't sell them short.

Tupelo beat usp 3-0. Preacher took Clinton, they beat panola 38-26 or something like that.
With that said, I wouldn't want to play panola, but I don't think they will win it either.

Smithville lost near 2000 yard rusher Dee Moore for the season. He was playing basketball at church and broke his hand Thursday night. Smithville struggled on offense but did get by Broad Street 17-6. Needless to say this hurts Smithville's chances in a big way. Simmons beat Falkner 98-18 tonight.
