2 major upsets happened. Reagan upset Carter and MSU defeated #1 Bama 6-3. Heres hoping history repeats itself.

Remember it well, saw Reagan at Neshoba county fair, (Carter spoke in the Union in the previous election). Just my luck, it was 1st Bama game I missed in 6 years. I owned a bar in West Point and had to open that day.

I remember seeing Carter speak in the Union. I stopped for maybe 1 minute and moved on. It was probably a good 18 months before the primaries and I didn't think there was any way in heck he would be a serious candidate. I did stay for the entire 6-3 game tho. Ha.
