Great read Gov., were you there? I had the pleasure of sharing a Thanksgiving dinner once with Harper Davis, fine gentleman, full of great stories.

Harper and brother Art Davis are two of the all-time greats...special people.

Great story. I've known John Grace since I was 4. Used to call him uncle John until I got older. He is a great bulldog and a great man.

Mr. Grace played at State, served in WWII, then came back and played at State. Greatest Generation.

"Greatest Generation" I'd have to agree.

Mr. Art Davis is a good man. On signing day, he came to Clarksdale High School and shook my hand and took some pictures with my family and me. He looked me in the eye, and said, "You're a bulldog for life, and don't ever forget it." Then he said, "I'm proud of you, Todd." I will never forget that as long as I live.
