Has anyone ever heard of using a drone for hunting deer?

Seems like it would be a little loud.

I've heard using drones to track their movements on some ranches

Yep, and they are quiet. Can use them to find where they laying up, how they getting to food n water..... Sorry it's illegal in MS. When they first came out I thought it would be awesome, and the next best thing for deer hunters. I've got one, but it's never flown nowhere around deer I swear***

I know a kid that has used one at times just to rise up and have a look into a large food plot before walking down the hill to it to determine if he should just walk to his stand or try to stalk for a shot from the woods.

Like Tusk, things are a little different over here in Alabama.... my driveway alarms are going off all the time with deer crossing. I had to run off a nice 8 pt out of my front yard the other day eating all my acorns. Don't need a drone...
