Embarrassing and Ole Miss are synonymous.Spurlock did go on and have a brief NFL career.

They have pimped every QB in the last 15 years for Heisman. I saw a Buchanan for Heisman bumper sticker before last season. It's comical.

I remember some Ole Miss fans definitely claiming that Spurlock was better than Eli. And I will say in their defense he was a better kick returner than Eli.

Ole Miss fans usually aren't good at personnel decisions. Heck- they thought the best quarterback in Mississippi history would be a fullback or tight end in the NFL. Fortunately the Cowboys don't have any Ole Miss fans as scouts.
