I say yes if we stay out of 3rd and long offensively. If our OL gets decimated like it did last year we will lose. On D we should be fine barring a miraculous performance by their bad OL and a backup QB and their bad RBs.

The question in the OP was not about the past 3 egg bowls. It was about this year's egg bowl. I will be nice and assume you can't read.

At any rate, I am aware of how the past 3 egg bowls turned out. Acutely aware, but I will be damned if we as a fan base and program write that game off as a loss each and every season.

So, yeah call me unaware or whatever else you want. Don't really give a sh*t. I just want to beat those 17'ers.

State wins the Egg Bowl last year with a competent coaching performance, Dak didnt play his best but to be fair his OL was getting absolutely abused

Mississippi doesn't have the DL they had last year, if our Oline plays like they did Saturday, we will be fine. Swag and Youngblood are just the latest injuries they have had and they started with not a lot of quality depth.

I think he probably meant 2012, not 2013. So 3 of last 4 EBs.
