Occasionally during Stansbury's tenure, a small group of us, would sponsor steak dinners for the players, coaches and managers the Friday night before a Saturday game.
Normally we had 3 sponsors per meal but thats not written in stone. Usually the sponsors would eat with team, but not necessary.
Its a pretty inexpensive way to show appreciation, and an excellent way to get to know the players and coaches.
Coach Howland is very much in favor of doing this and has put Michael Monihayan to be the go to guy to set up the dinners.
