I was in attendance and was very upset at the crowd. 58,407 was announced attendance but if you were there you know that wasnt the case. Completely understand that we were 3-5 and an 11am kick against an opponent poised to blow us out. We still have a job to do and that is to support these student athletes that put their bodies and health on the line for our team. Whether or not you hate dan mullen and want him gone is irrelevant, we are there to support the team. Scoreboard club maybe was 25% full. Were better than that and I would love to see us out in full force for Arkansas as Dan tries to get this team turned around. Hail State!

It looked like at least fifty k at kickoff to me. Helluva 11:00 crowd for 3-5 team expected to get boat raced, and pretty damn loud as well.

No way it way even close to 50k. 45 tops and that is being generous. I would say more like 40k honestly. Those that weren't there missed the biggest upset in Scott Field history.

I sit on the east side so I don't know what it looked like above me but the west lower and upper looked well populated as well as the south end zone.

Bitching about the attendance for today's game from someone who was there is just bullshit.

How long have you been going to our games? Biggest upset in Scott Field history?

Damn, if we had a full house we would have beat them 49-0!!! **

On TV it looked like 50 - 54K. Which is plenty of cowbells to get the job done. I don't think the focused dawgs needed that much help against a flat, overrated A&M team.

I would venture to say the 1st game this year ranks as one of the biggest upsets in Scott Field history! We just weren't on the right side of that one.

In the words of Dr. Roy Ruby..."It was a perfect day for Mississippi State fans, we won the game but still have plenty to complain about."

I go to a lot of games and chose not to go today. Its a 2 hour drive for me. ''I love the Im better than you because I went'' fans and the ''I was there when'' fans. I will be going to the arkansas game no doubt.

It was loud and the fans were excited. I think I yelled more and stood more yesterday than I have in the last couple of seasons. Atmosphere was electric and the tribute to our Military and the USA made it special.

Btw, I think when you play defense like we did yesterday, great tackling and pressuring the QB plus holding an explosive fast offense in check, gets the crowd into a frenzy.

Whats funny the Student section was empty at 11:00 but seems like news started to spread around campus and Strakville that we looked like a football team and by the start of the second half it was full

It will be packed For Arkansas.
