Whatever the issue is, they've managed to keep it awfully quiet, except for speculation. Nothing really definitive that I've seen or heard.

Why couldn't they just use Pellorin?

One of those dumbasses said on their pitiful sight that Why burn a redshirt. He wont leave early for the draft. We will be happy and say good move when he is leading us to Sugar Bowls and CFB Playoff births in a yr or so...

I mean really? Do they even think to why the God child has yet to play?

Because if the kid is as near as good as he has been made out to be, he will only be there 3 yrs anyway whether he redshirts or not. Its just fishy that they could have given him alot of playing time early in the yr to get game experience and they didnt. Now, they have a redshirt freshman that looks to take the spot... Doesnt quite add up to everyone...

Only Freeze would publicly talk about bringing a guy out that hasn't practiced 1 play in almost a year, much less be in shape, to go and be his backup.

Even as an everyday player, he was below average.

That's a pretty good indication that the Rev knows more than he is saying and that Kelly won't be playing against TAMU. Why else would he make a dumb sounding statement like that? It would be funny if Buchanan told Freeze, thanks, but no thanks.

When I first read what he said, I thought he was joking, but then went back to his second sentence that he hoped Ryan heard him. Could he actually bring him back this year, or are would that a next year decision?
