I do know this, MSU needs to get more out of Mississippi representation and marketing. Mississippi is has been shrinking for 30 years in population, wealth, etc., and we seem to be building our future on Mississippi mostly...we are never going to expand the base outside of MS by strictly internal/alum hires. I was on record as wanting some new blood with other big school experience. I think other points of view are valuable, especially when they have been successful. With that said I hope Cohen has nothing but the best success.

The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence, so Cohen may do a great job. We just don't know. But I agree that we need to become more of a national brand. There's no reason to essentially limit ourselves to the state borders in anything, including administration, coaching, and students.
