They asked him to bless the Cubs from Wrigleyville. Interesting that Father Masters wasn't invited to come along with the team. Oh well.

He needs to pray that that cubbie runner gets more speed after getting thrown out at 2nd. He looked like an 18wheeler going uphill when he rounded 1st

I was 6 years old and right by third base dugout. Had forgotten masters was 6 for 6 that game.

I was a few rows up from you. Was one of the most memorable baseball games I've ever witnessed. Did not know Burke had gone into the ministry. What a great ambassador to our university.

According to an interview with him I heard the other day, the chaplain program he's a part of uses the chaplain for the home team for everyone, so they don't travel. But he does have passes for all the home games, including the World Series.
