I would like to build a passive solar kiln to dry firewood say 10x5x6. Drawing out the humid air will be a challenge. Would a chimney on top with a couple of vents on the bottom provide enough "draw" to pull out the moisture? Any and all thoughts on this project would be greatly appreciated.

I would think you would want "forced air" movement... Have you consider solar powered fans?

Why the rush to dry firewood? you in the business?
