Thinking about driving down to New Orleans Friday night, and thought I might catch a Pelicans game. Will getting a couple of cheap tickets in the upper deck be hard to get if I just get them when I get down there? Or should I go ahead and purchase them online in advance?

I'd probably just buy them online. Just checked StubHub and for Friday's game you can get upper-deck center court seats for $15 per ticket including fees. The cheapest seats are $9 per ticket. Definitely less than face value.

Yea, you probably could get some when you get there especially since they are playing the Suns, but your safest option, and probably cheapest, is just to StubHub them
