D Wilson looks like a stud, but we don't throw to him enough. We send nobody deep...\ ever.

What about the Holloway? Does he really run a 4.2? then why aren't we trying to get him the ball?
Robinson - not enough carries.
Tubby- Doesn't get it enough.

You gotta get it to the people with speed, and ability, or there is no point in havig them.

1st drive we throw it all over the place...then done and done. We hand it to LDP, then throw it to him, to the point where its obiovus what we're doing.

It's just dumb the way we play and it's hard to explain, becuase Mullin isn't dumb.

and to all the people who say we shouldnt play good teams like this.. you're wrong. Why be fooled into thinking your decent becuase you beat up Alcorn. I want to know the TRUTH, now...not in 7 weeks.

If we can play a good team early, it also gives us a pretty good chance to fix the mistakes before they become unfixable and our identity.

You're right. We had obvious problems early on last year, but since we were beating up on those teams, we ignored them. Then, when we got to the real competition, we shit the bed.

I said in a different thread that we take no shots down field. The only time we took a shot deep at 1 on 1 coverage was in the 4th quarter with Prescott, down 21-3. It's like we aim for 3-4 yards per play, and while ideally you do want 3-4 yards per play, that's not what you go for every single play. You got to stretch the defense in at least one direction. Ole Miss and Malzahn have success stretching the D sideline to sideline, other teams have success stretching the defense down the field. We don't even try to stretch the D in any direction, we just beat ourselves into it.
