No dude. The decision needs to be made for us ahead of time by big brother. Citizens have no accountability.

Actually posted this on the walking dead thread. I personally didn't see anything excessively graphic they did other than show how bad he beat Abraham and Glen down and turned their head into mush. Just people looking for a reason to be offended.

Parents council makes me so mad, I could hit them in the head with a baseball bat**

I heard GRRM talk about the censors. He said he could get away with beheading and cutting off limbs but all kind of hell is raised if you show a naked person. It isn't like this is public television. You have to actually pay for the channel to get it. There are parental locks to prevent kids from accidentally watching something like this.

If GRRM is publicly saying anything other than the Winds of Winter is going to be released before NYD, he needs to shut his pie hole, eat some chicken from the Shell station, and crawl back into his barrel and write.

This has always baffled me. Growing up, I could watch Schwarzenegger, Xenomorphs, Predators, and all manners of monsters and bad guys shoot and rip people to shreds....all while taking the Lord's name in vain....but God forbid that same film showed a female nipple. Bizarre.

Left out an important word, lol.

Cause seeing nipples makes people want sex, and sex makes people happy, and those assholes don't want people being happy.

If by those people, you mean consumers, you're apparently right.

To my knowledge, every channel not broadcast over the air can show just about whatever they want with respect to sex (subject to some laws on obscenity), but sponsors apparently won't back it.

Surely I'm missing something though, as you'd think you could put together advertisors that would at least get behind the stuff that goes in HBO original programming.

I'm pretty sure we were talking about peoples piousness when it comes to nudity, while ignoring violence and profanity....
