I have been thinking(scary I know). And just thinking back do we have any former players/alumni/anyone with ties to the university that are in coaching and may end up being a decent coach down the road? I guess someone like a Hugh Freeze where Miss State would be their destination dream job.

Hudspeth is the only one that immediately comes to mind. Maybe Geoff Collins or Manny Diaz one day but certainly not now.

Maybe brad Peterson can be our lottery ticket down the line. I'm not saying he will be, so don't jump me.

I understand. That was as close as I could get. There really aren't very many out there if any.

I believe Rob Likens (OC of Kansas) is the only HC/coordinator we have in the FBS ranks.

Yea was looking for anybody really connected to the program...but that can expand to guy's like hudspeth... I think he would stick around for a while if he ever got the opportunity. I agree that Collins or Diaz would jump at the first opportunity out. I was just thinking about it and nobody came to mind ... figured I would see if there was anyone I was missing.

Brad Peterson's name has been brought up as a TE coach but does he have any experience coaching TE's or Oline?

He would do a fantastic job with either one of them. He has coached very ha SS on with the OLine every place he has been a HC.
