We have a solid college SS rite now in gridley...tough as nails and gritty. But an elite defensive SS is a game changer, especially in conference/postseason big time match ups.

Gridley has been playing on an injured knee since he got to school. He is a tough sob. Had surgery in August. I can't wait to see him at 100%.

Alexander is good but Gridley has played every game for the last 2 seasons while being injured. That's not easy to do in the SEC or anywhere. We have no idea what his upside is. But I bet we're all going to find out.

Alexander covers more ground at SS and has the arm. I think Luke will be our SS; but if gridley outplay him, then good for gridley
