It ends up delivering Dak to Jerry on a platter.

Dak ends up playing for the team of his childhood dreams.

Injuries become fate, a rookie gets a chance and plays like a veteran. And proves to a lot of "expert" naysayers how wrong they were.

He'll eventually get his money. But to end up with a great offensive line, great RB, some good receivers and one of the best offensive coordinators out there. Linehan's play calling has been a thing of beauty.

Six games in and the now media has anointed him the future in Dallas, if not the present. HOF former QBs, former players come to bat for Dak, that he's the real deal
.
It's all just been fate, but it couldn't have happened the way it did without Officer Friendly.

Currently, rated as SECOND BEST QB in the NFL .. just a couple of points behind Matt Ryan

The DUI incident had nothing to do with him going 4th round. People didn't believe in him because of where he played in college and the offensive system he ran.

Thanks for the update officer.** I guess all those article that say that is why he dropped to the fourth round are uninformed.

No problem.** If that was the reason people would associate him with it now. The talk has been where he's played and the offense he's from and no expectations of him.

Dak's strongest suit, his character, was smeared by the incident. Maybe it was totally justified, and Dak got off easy in the end or maybe not. But whatever the case, it cost him 30 maybe 50 spots in the draft.

Did you even read that article? It essentially says that it probably won't affect his stock much, if at all, though it will cause teams to do more background work. Well, during that background work on Dak, you're only going to find more positives.

It didn't really affect his stock at all.

Exactly correct, Mr. Smoot, if his evaluators had developed a higher opinion of his talents and potential, he would have been drafted sooner. We've seen stone cold criminals drafted higher because of their potential to help a team's bottom line...The NFL didn't suddenly go pc on us just because a few guys like Manziel go to bed with the bottle...

It's funny how way leads on to way. Plan all you want, but the wind blows where it blows.
