Do you think chip Kelly (1-5 at San Fran) and Jim tressel will be pursued this year? I think both would kill it at lsu

Tressel is now President at a University, think Ohio University, he is done coaching.

If I were looking for a coach, I'd call. Tressel is a dang good coach. Worth a shot imo

Yeah, I don't see it. Who knows though... maybe it's a howland-like miracle that falls in our lap again.

If it's going to happen for Tressel for one more Power 5 job, it will probably need to be this year. He turns 64 in Dec.

Isn't there a part of the Tressel deal where he is suspended for x games if and when he gets another head job?

No that only applied during his show cause period. If a team hired him during the 5 year show cause and the NCAA agreed with a university that they have just cause for him to be their coach, he would have still been suspended for the first 5 games. The combination assured he was black balled as a HC option for schools.
