Please just simple yes or no answer. I'm just curious what everyone thinks.

1) Will Mullen be fired if we go 4-8 with a 20+ point loss to OM? YES OR NO

2) Should he be fired in that scenario? YES OR NO

3)Will Mullen be fired if we go 3-9 with a 20+ point loss to OM? YES OR NO

4)Should he be fired in that scenario? YES OR NO

No, yes, no, yes

Our university has always lacked the balls to strike early on this kind of stuff. It will be allowed to compound into a larger problem next year and while UNM is crippled by sanctions we will spend that time crippled by self imposed bullshit due to administrative ineptitude. It's how we roll I guess.

No, no, no, no.

The only thing that will get Mullen fired is if he and the team don't show effort and commitment the rest of the season. Intense Mullen was back last night and the team played well during the first half. Unfortunately, the offense didn't make it out of the locker room for the second half.

However only the powers that be know if we have a good GOOD replacement lined up. IF....IF we did, 2. & 4. Are Yes. But I would bet dollars to donuts we don't have anyone interested in the job but HUD and some retreads.

If for some reason we lose to Samford and then don't show up for Northern MS, the I would call it a coin toss, but probably no on all.

What makes you think a UNM 20 point loss, if Aub had Dogs 35-0 at half.......Kelly will make Crooms last year egg bowl look like sympathy......

because transitive property is obviously a constant in football*

we might lose by 50 or we might win but being down 35-0 to auburn means nothing in the next game

and we're better than we played vs auburn I think that's obvious - and I still think we beat someone we shouldn't down the stretch

In every scenario, Hevesy needs to go though. We need new Oline recruiting and coaching way worse than Mullen leaving.

Imagine a guy's wife bangs somebody else and also sells his prize deer rifle. Do you think he cares that she's given him great head 1, 211 times and bought him that awesome four wheeler two years ago?

imagine Rick raying ourselves in football

imagine hiring against all these huge openings this offseason after you fired your most successful coach for 1 abortion season.

we're all bulldogs and want the same goal but anyone who legitimately thinks firing Dan is the right path this year just blows my mind and I question what reality I'm in at that moment

This. I agree with most of the complaints of the "fire him" group. However I'm just really really concerned with who, we would replace him.

At this juncture of MSU football history, you don't fire a HC for a bad season after what he's done in prior seasons like Dan has done.

Unless he committed an unforgivable offense. I'm convinced he did.

Dan was on a mission to parlay his '14 & '15 seasons into new scenery for him and his family. Fine. I'm a big boy and can handle that. Nothing personal, strictly business so to speak.

What I can't accept though is he also chose not to parlay those 2 seasons into positive foundation building for our program's future. He must have had lots of confidence a new gig was on the horizon because it's obvious he said 17 it. There is no other explanation for our current shit show.

I'm not going to convict someone looking elsewhere but in the interim, you have to bust your ass for those who are paying you. He did not. And he's put his buddy hevesy over our program.

He's a corrupt CEO whose been caught stealing from the company. Theft to the degree that has jeopardized the company and cost the stock holders dearly.

He's got to go.
