I saw this article (http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/why-oklahoma-state-has-been-named-college-footballs-1945-national-champion/) about the coaches' association retroactively awarding Oklahoma State their 1945 national champions. Hopefully, they'll consider Allyn McKeen and MSU their due for the 1940 10-0-1 Orange Bowl season.

Our fans would reject it. We've already declared our '14 run to #1 a fraud. No one rips us more than us

Didn't we already reject a Florida forfeit in 1980 that would have given us a share of the SEC championship with Georgia? Seem to remember something like that because it was proven that Florida illegally spied on our practices or something back in the day.

Sad to say, but this is true. I remember when it happened. It seemed stupid then, still does.

Hang a banner and roll with it. A&M has done it, OK St, several others. Any claim to a possible NC gets a banner.
