Nice looking pick up. Does that mean we don't expect to get Brooks?

No we still want Brooks. I think this is more how they feel about Kiir.

Good deal... Iowa state is a good basketball program, so nice to flip one of their guys. Offers from Iowa state, bama, Baylor, om, and Pitt. Good get

Howland is a bad man! If he lands Weatherspoon, Feazell, and Brooks to go along with last years haul I'm excited about our basketball future!

Hey If can you give a quick breakdown of Feazell's game vs. Brooks' & whether we'd be getting the same player by pulling both? Can't find much tape of Feaz but seems like he may have more raw athleticism but less polish. Both look like plus post defenders which is what this roster needs. The tape I've seen of Brooks' is mostly him blocking shots, do either offer anything offensively other than put backs?

Feazell is a true stretch four who fits our system better. He has great range and can shoot the three. IYOK is right. This has more to do with Kiir then Brooks. At 6'9" 225, Feazell is going to be a matchup problem with any PF's he faces. Great pick up by Howland. Future looks really bright!

Sure is good to hear some positive about one of our programs.

Expect Strugg to transfer after this season. He has had two surgeries since being on campus because of really bad shins.

good to know. hope to see a little more physicality from him at 225 than we've seen from Stick Holman.

if we're going to take three either someone has to transfer or declare for the draft. I like Strugg, rly enjoy his personality, & hope he has a good year as a scrapper off the bench but I'd give him the lowest ceiling on next yr's roster. Hopefully the new floor will help those shins.

Holman played last year at about 205-210. He's up to around 220 he's never going to be a physical guy but we knew that when we signed him. He had to play more center last year than he ever should.

Feazell's dad played with Dampier on some of the great Lawrence County state championship teams.
When you watch Keyshawn play you can see that he has all the tools to play at a high level. He's got a good outside shot but sometimes he wants to prove how great he can shoot and drifts outside too often.
There's no reason he can't be a star if he works hard.

super excited about this! I was upset when he committed to ISU. I think he has great potential.
