Cohen hasn't even been officially interviewed yet. I think that likely has to happen first.

Also, even if it is eventually Cohen, "Bonnet" (I'll embrace that at this point) was still wrong. A decision has not been finalized as of this morning. Period.

Why would a guy that's been on campus 8+ years need to interview? Sounds like a formality to me

Because you want to look him in the eye and ask: "what would you do as AD about the Mullen situation?"

His answer to that could dictate whether he's hired or not. I can also tell you that if they think he can raise the buy out, it might be a no-brainer to hire him. However, you have to go through the full process with everyone. This is a state institution, not a country club.

Every job I've ever had if you go for a significant promotion you still have to interview for it even if you have been with the company for awhile.

Our classes and our whole athletic dept. Several of our top recruits have long ties to Bianco and it's become a little embarrassing for him. They are trying to make us look bad as a whole though.

Perfect Game has us at #8 and they are at #18. We have also taken a couple of kids that were tied to Bianco as stated here previously.
