I've never been a global warming guy, but the melt here the last month has be re-thinking. Sea levels have risen at least a foot from state fans' whining and we continue to look for more to melt about

I wonder how many of our current and former players also took a visit ... #18year old recruiting. We should expect this as we have seen it so many times before, that's the way it goes with top players. Besides, I think he could watch one game and immediately understand the need for him here

And why wouldn't every big time recruit take visits??

Hell our current coach " took visits" the last 4 years now..

He committed to us after I left work at 4 pm(and signed off the internet) and had already decommitted by the time i got back to work at 630 am(and signed back on).

that is the way i remember it....

Lashley never committed to State.

I'm pretty sure he did real early in the process. Then he decommitted and we were told not to worry about it. He just wanted to play the game and take his visits, etc.

Well Hill has stayed committed for more than 30 minutes, unlike Lashley. Plus Hill won't have to play for Hevesy.

This is true. I still think that if I'm a recruit watching the product on the field I'd be having second thoughts myself.

Recruits just don't think like fans. They don't have that emotional attachment of years of MSU ups & downs. They look at it as an opportunity not as despair. They feel they can be the difference between winning that game we lost.

As has been stated over and over..nothing to worry about right now.. Let the kid enjoy the once in a lifetime process.

Or Cam Newton ringing the cowbell right before he signed with Auburn .... Of course, there was an exchange of a bit of money in that situation.

As has been stated over and over..nothing to worry about right now.. Let the kid enjoy the once in a lifetime process.

If any of us were in his shoes we'd take other visits why not see other schools just out of curiosity.The opportunity to be the starter here though should win out in the end.

I would take every visit I could if I was in that position.

I would probably even contact schools like Hawaii to see if they'd bring me for a visit.

You only live once, so might as well enjoy the process!

Hawaii is a great idea, I'd like to see San Diego State, definitely University of Miami, FSU and the University of Las Vegas!
