So anybody got some new info on this? Please dear lord let it not be Cohen. Also if they let the coward have any input on who gets the job I'm done.

Heeke has a lot of steam and hopefully puts us in the game to get Mullen out and Fleck in.

Well I wouldn't put it past us to do something completely lazy and just give the job to Cohen. Hopefully the longer it's drawn out the less likely that happens.

Heeke, A&M guy, Cohen, etc... lots of quality names floating around during the search. It's been conducted well in my opinion. Quiet for the most part. I like that. I hope they're doing a thorough review of all the candidates. There are some good names being thrown around.

I have no clue, but I'm 100% sure they know of each other since they are at rival schools in the MAC. And both are Adidas schools BTW.

I hate addidas apparel, but I can't complain about what they seem to be doing for us on the coaching circuit.

Yes we're one of their bigger schools so it's good for them if we're good. I agree even though I prefer Nike and I wish the new AD would have Adidas design a version of the interlocking MSU for us.

That's a horrible idea actually... if we wanted to go back to it..we should design it... not them.
Next thing you know they design something we love and we move to under Armour. or back to nike (and they don't give us the old logo back for some reason)

MSU senior associate athletic director of external affairs Scott Wetherbee is the other in-house candidate besides Cohen. He has been in the AD side of it for 15 years and only been at MSU for 3 years. So not a lifer.

I'm a Cohen fan despite his craziness game to game, but he's the only one id be upset about. I've heard from two reliable people that the hire is more than likely coming from outside though.
