Alex Myers, the associate editor at golf digest just sent out a tweet that Tiger is withdrawing from the Safeway Open.

That dude had us on a string the whole time.

Have this huge build up and then nothing. Golf blue balls.

Yeah, you may be right about him stringing us along. I was looking forward to seeing him play again, even though I don't really like him.

3 years ago I bet $50 that he'd never win another Major... Although I don't root against him, I think I'll eventually be $50 richer.
