On the previous drive with the Lions trailing, Slay's hit caused a fumble recovered by the Lions. Fletcher Cox then proceeded to get a sack forcing a FG by the Lions. MSU all over the place in the last couple of minutes of that game.

Why give up a 5 yard pass when you can give up a 15 yard pass and miss a tackle? Mullen is on to something**

That's when they were both starters for us and we had them 15 yards off the ball
