Holloway averages 1 yard after contact so why would you ever run him up the gut?

The announcers yesterday said he only averaged 1 yard after contact this year so for him to gain anything up the gut the Oline has to have everyone blocked through the 2nd level. When it is this obvious to everyone but Dan, why would you keep doing it?
