I've been on Mullen's side. Can't be any more. If this is what we came up with after a bye then it's time to move on. We are about to get rolled and it's only going to get worse from here.

The telling moment for me was when Dan said he didn't realize how much leadership we lost from last year's team. How the hell do you not know that??

Same as him^^^^^

And I don't mind if it's done before we waste a plan ticket to Provo on him.

I was ready at the end of last year. With the OM performance and the Miami fiasco. He has lost this team!

He doesn't recruit well
We don't execute at a high level
Our players don't play above there heads
We come into big games with shit game plans that take almost 3 quarters to change.

I don't care if he's taken us to new levels. He's only finished better than 4th place in the west one time in 7 YEARS!

The only SEC west teams he has a winning record against is Arkansas and OM and that'll probably change this year.

I'm done!

Mullen should resign after this embarrassing sh$t show. I'm done. Can't support this anymore. Time to move on.

This team will receive several ass whippings this year. No way Mullen survives. AL and OM will beat us 70-0.

Glad everyone is finally seeing the train wreck Mullen has become. And before you say anything, I'm here at the game. I have every reason to complain.

Do we do what LSU did and fire him tommorow? I say yes but I don't see that happening

What is his buyout. Surely we can afford it to get rid of this shit with concessions from today alone

If he resigns he is out 6 million. He wants to be fired so he gets his contract pay. I haven't believed that theory but I'm starting to.

With the gentle breeze of the looming cat 5 rustling the leaves in the grove , our time is now to strike in recruiting. This sad sack doesn't need to be around in any way. He needs to be canned or at the least be deballed behind the scenes and start a clandestine search.

my post in one of the other threads that brought up us basically immediately losing all the momentum of 2014.

wasted momentum is just unforgivable. we were #1 for 5 weeks in 2014, i get that you might only see a small bump in recruiting for the 2015 class, but the 2016 should see a major bump because you have a full cycle to promote being #1 for 5 weeks, having a heisman caliber QB, etc. etc. etc. instead, our recruiting got ****ing worse in 2016. we saw a net loss from having dak and being #1 for 5 weeks on the recruiting trail. how is the ****ing possible? oh yeah, the coach doesn't go all in on the recruiting trail and is too busy interviewing with miami and maryland and any other job with a pulse instead of hanging up the phone as soon as they call and getting back to recruiting.

Mississippi State has never had and never will have the balls to do that.

Don't see it either. Plus the media would probably give us hell. But after several more ass whippings, no one will fault us for firing him. Fire him the day after the Egg.

The only thing that could save Mullen is to get this team playing better for the rest of the season.

Shall we do a sticky poll on Mullen's status?

It would seem that our 2 and 3 star players are overrated. I'm pretty sure that my high school team would beat this team. Really sad. Note to Fitz - most pass plays have more than 1 receiver, if you look around you will probably see them (if they're taller than 5'8" of course).

Give it to fresh, new blood. Let Sirmon be interm and look for the big hire at the end of the yr. Throw some god awful amount to a hell of a recruiter and end NM while they will be down. We are fixen to be handed a golden chance here with their NCAA troubles, and I have a feeling Mullen will blow it if he stays...

And you know who that recruiter is. LSU isn't going to hire him after the season they are going for Curley Hallman part deaux. O has learned his lesson about being a head coach and is now being more of a delegator than an autocrat.

There is no Coach O on this staff that we can turn it over to. Not to mention, lack of talent was never LSU's problem. It is however ours.

Sirmon? You're ****ing kiddin, right? Sirmon shouldn't even be a DC. Go look at his wiki and tell me his qualifications for even that position. It's sad we hired him at dc

His qualification, he would take the job. One problem with going through DC's like toilet paper is they are getting other jobs, and I'm sure they all talk to their friends and have nothing positive to say about the Mullen work environment.
