Too early to tell... Mullen won't a first choice, so it all depends on what opens and the first big domino (Herman) falls

I work with some LSU fans and I told them that Dan Mullen was interested in the LSU job. They laughed and said "no thanks".

We don't even need UM to spread rumors with no basis now. Some of the same ones spreading it will also be blasting Mullen for "looking around. It's almost comical.

Mullen is about 20th on their list. They are not interested at all. The money boys would clean house if they hired Mullen.

Mullen has too soft of a personality for LSU. No killer instinct. That's something they demand.

Only place I believe he will leave MSU for is Notre Dame. He definitely needs to go to a place that recruits itself. Shit, Charlie Weiss recruited well at Notre Dame (enough said).

This is a place that hired the likes of Curley Hallman and Gerry DiNardo. Those two names alone tell you that what you posted is false. Mullen would do well at LSU but I doubt he would want to stay in the SEC West.

Yeah..but that was back then, and aren't the type guys they would ever hire in today's game.

I think Mullen would start strong at LSU, then settle in at about 9-10 wins a year. Not quite their tempo.

I'll be honest- if Orgeron does well for them and I think he will, I could totally see them just staying with him if Fisher and Herman fall through which is what I think will happen. Yes, he was a disaster at Ole Miss, but he did well at USC. His accent isn't an issue in Louisiana as well.

Yeah it did, but Matt Wyatt is talking about it any chance he gets. I guess he doesn't realize that he's not helping things by creating uncertainty. Mullen has enough people shopping him around, we don't need Wyatt on it too.

Mullen isn't going to get a job that is "better" than MSU. If he does leave after this year be ready for it to be lateral at best.
