To have the field extended to 200 yards. But I'm afraid all that would do would give us a 180 yard pass play instead of just an 80 yard play. No defenses whatsoever. Texas-Okla. St have a combined 700+ yards at the half. And I've seen worse.
To me, that's not even fun to watch.

Agree. The games are too long.
There needs to be some rule alterations that give DBs a chance again. The state of Texas has become so sophisticated with it's high school offenses that all it is a finesse game that doesn't prepare defensive players for college football. It's become a backyard two hand touch game with no physicality
The sport of football needs to give defense something. The only answer is to allow contact between DBs & WRs to throw off routes

The sec has been getting closer and closer to high octane offensive football. It'll be interesting who replaces les and eventually saban... the sec could be a new big 12 in the making

It's even more of a chore to attend and sit through games like that with all of the television timeouts. Honestly, who the hell wants to sit through a game where there is more commercial time than game time whenever it is freezing cold or pouring rain.

It would help if they would call holding on the OL every once in a while. This includes SEC games today also!
