OT: Tech help? Board is logging me out after 2-3 minutes.

Started about a week or 10 days ago. Is there a setting I can change? I looked but didn't see anything to change.

This is on a PC, not mobile. Seems like I got a Windows update around the time it started. Any chance that's behind this and is there some Windows setting to fix it?

Also, for the board admins, can we get a twitter button for the toolbar for quoting twitter posts? And can you leave this up a little while before moving it to the BS forum?

The popular answer is to clear you cache. Don't know if that'll work or not. And of course, restart.

I haven't had that issue.

Wabbit, I'm having exact same issues on my iPad. Seem to have an update also and then it started. And it is not just this webpage. Open to suggestions. I've turned off. Cleaned cache. Etc

Not familiar with the iPad, but I just noticed the "Remember me" box under the login was unchecked. I checked it and hope that was the issue. I'm suspecting a Firefox update was the culprit in unchecking that.

OK, it appears that the unchecked "remember me" box was the problem.

Feel stupid for looking at all sorts of settings on this site and Firefox and the unchecked box was the issue. I didn't uncheck it, presume a Windows or Firefox update did it.

Mods, feel free to move or lock. (But how about that Twitter button on the posting toolbar?)

When you clear your cookies, the box becomes unchecked 'cause the cookie is also gone. You have to relogin and ck box again.

Glad this fixed yours. My box has been "checked" several times but does no good. I still have to re login when my screen goes to sleep and I'm gone for a little while. It used to not do that until about 10 days ago
