Stored messages

I tried to PM someone, and I got a message saying I had too many messages. I deleted a few PMs. But here is the message I see.
Inbox contains 6 messages. You have 39 messages stored, of a total 50 allowed.

Where are these 39 stored messages? How can I view them? Delete them? There is a link that says empty storage box but I don't want to ditch the PMs that I have saved.

Can anyone offer some insight?

Check your sent PM folder... and clean that up

I figured it out. The "Stored Messages" were the PM that I had sent. I cleared those and kept the responses that were of interest. That about emptied it all. Now I have plenty of room.
