A couple things, auburn is not very good and LSU still doesn't have a qb. The auburn game in a couple of weeks could be as bad to watch as the 3-2 debacle.

Auburn is going to tell us to pick up the soap and make us like it.

auburn will kill us with misdirection because we have no backside discipline on defense. We will have our chances, but their D line will be a tough matchup for us.

Yea for some reason and I don't know why but I think we hang in there with them and have a chance to win it. They are not very good nor are we. But their offense is not very scary. I think you can just about wrap miles career up if they drop this one with bama, a and m, Om and Arkansas still on the schedule they could easily drop a couple of those or more.

Agreed. Miles has to go if they drop this game.

Anybody see the photographer take the auburn kickoff, after going up 12-7, to the head?

Really Clark?

Yeah, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. Most of my 61 year life, it has been hard being a State fan, but I wouldn't pull for any other team ( except whoever is playing UNM).

Yep. 8-14 for 63 yards as well. 63 yards. With the backs and fast WR they have you could just throw screens all day for more than that, you would assume

We will be fine against Auburn in two weeks. For whatever reason (I believe Camgate) we get up to play Auburn. Just like we don't get up for the UMass USA types. We will be hyped and at home. I expect a close one.

LSU has Fournette and a few really good receivers. I really can't believe they are this bad on offense. Miles needs to go.

Exactly, it wasn't even possible and Gus knew it the whole time. Miles bad clock management cost them again.

There should have been a 10 second runoff. No Flippin idea why not. Auburn got screwed, then got screwed again on the td call, all to be unscrewed by the reversal. So, all on the up and up.

The 10 second run off is an NFL rule not college. The refs screwed up royally by starting the clock after a penalty and an incomplete pass, I expect that the SEC office will have some crow to eat next week. The rule is that after an accepted penalty the game clocks starts on the snap not the ready to play signal.

Sec officials screwed us against LSU and now they get a taste of the absolute abomination that is SEC officiating. The conference needs to take some of that money we are getting and get competent officials, it really is embarrassing to watch the 8 stooges out there every week.

Is that right? The entire team was moving on the play but still, that changes a lot of it's the rule.

It is on the refree signal on an excepted penalty not on the snap.

Even if you disregard the lack of a 10 second runoff and lack of not calling the game bc they could not snap the ball, Etling was also over the line of scrimmage when he threw the ball. I confirmed on my DVR and was dumbfounded that it wasn't even mentioned by the announcers.

LSU had no business winning that game whatsoever. Right decision was made.

That's what I thought too but that's not what the other poster said, that's why I was asking.

This is the rule change:

"Under most circumstances, if the game clock is stopped because of a penalty, it starts when the referee gives the "ready-for-play" signal after completing the penalty. This year, the committee passed a rule that takes effect inside two minutes in the half. This new rule requires that the clock be started on the snap if the team ahead in the score commits a foul. Under the current rule, the clock would be started on the ready-for-play signal, allowing the fouling team the chance to gain a time advantage by running perhaps 20 or more seconds off the game clock. The new rule prevents this."
