Wyoming at Eastern Michigan

on CBSSN. Eastern Michigan seems to have a purple turf field ... it really looks odd. But may be a little less irritating than Boise State's blue one. They're at least wearing contrasting uniforms. Their colors appear to be green and white, so maybe that's the reason for a non-green surface.

I've seen a red field somewhere but don't remember where it was. The NCAA might want to think about requiring playing surfaces to be green. I know in the case of Boise State wearing all blue uniforms on the blue field, they are very hard to see on television, and probably have an impact on the field. Going camo shouldn't be an advantage option.
