When is he expected to return and how big of an impact do you guys think he can make in the secondary? Its obvious we need a lot of help back there so I'm hopeful he can be a difference maker.

I think Jiles is good but not great. That being said his return is absolutely huge for us

If nothing else, it gets Smokey into either the nickel role which will be better for him now or just another body to rotate in the game. Jiles is a good SEC corner if he can stay healthy. He isn't Calhoun or Redmond but he is at least average in the SEC. Smokey is still learning and really needs another year learning everything. He is a great athlete but he still turns the wrong way and different things like that which will improve as he gets more experience.

Agreed. Durr isn't the problem. Hopefully a combo of Durr & Jiles will stiffen our D.
